WELFARE OF DIFFERENTLY ABLED, TRANSGENDER AND SENIOR CITIZENS

The population of Differently Abled in Ananthapuramu district:

Total population of Differently Abled is 2.49% out of total population of District 40,81,148 as per 2011 census.

ECONOMIC REHABILITATION:Financial assistance to the extent of 50% of the unit cost with a maximum limit of Rs.1,00,000/- is sanctioned as subsidy to the Differently abled persons whose deformity is 40% and above to whom the bank loan is sanctioned and whose parent’s/guardian’s income does not exceed Rs.1,00,000/- per annum and age between 18-50 years towards starting of self-employment schemes for their livelihood.

PRE MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS:The students who are studying I to X Classes having 40% and above disability and whose annual parental income does not exceed Rs.1,00,000/- are sanctioned scholarships through online i.e. www.jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in as follows:-

POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS:The students who are studying Intermediate and above Classes having 40% and above disability and whose annual parental income does not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- are sanctioned scholarships through online i.e. www.jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in as follows:-
