Revenue divisions
For administrative convenience, the district is divided into 3 Revenue Divisions. The Revenue Division is headed by a Revenue Divisional Officer of the rank of Sub Collector or Deputy Collector in the I.A.S cadre. He is a Sub Divisional Magistrate who has jurisdiction over his division. An Administrative Officer in the Tahsildar cadre assists in the administration. The Sub Divisional Offices are the counterpart of the Collectorate in terms of the number of divisions and they act as an intermediary in the administrative setup. Each division consists of a few Mandals, the functioning of which is constantly monitored by the concerned Divisional Office. List of Divisions:
