Location: Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple (Lat. 14°5137.6N; Long. 77°1823.8E) is located in Pennahobilam (V) which is 12 Kms from Uravakonda town. It is 4o Kms away from Ananthapuramu District Headquarters and 30 kms from Guntakal (SC Railway).

Brief History of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple:

The temple is an important Vaishnavite temple on the left bank of the river pennar. It is facing to the East and consists of Garbhagriha, Antharalaya, Pillared Mukha Mantapa, flanked by Kalyana Mandapa. The temple is rich with the huge prakara walls and Gopuras on each cardinal points. The Granite stone feet mark of 5×3 ft. is belived as the sacared foot prints of Lord Narasimha and is being worshipped in the Garbhagriha. There are two stone dhavajastambhas infront of the temple the height of which is 15 Meters. Two Inscriptions in the Temple refer to the donation given by the Konappadeva, son of Maha Maandaleswara Ramaraju under the Vijayanagara King of Sadasivaraya of 16th Century A.D.
