Location: Kundurpi (Lat. 14°1741.2N; Long. 77°0204.2E) is situated 30 Kms away from Kalyandurg. The name is derived due to the local deity Kundurpamma.

Brief History of Veerabhadra Swamy Temple:

Veerabhadra swamy temple is existing near to the foot of the hill of the Kundurpi hill fort. The temple is facing to the north and consists of Garbha Gruha, Antharalaya, Ardhamandapa, Mukhamandapa and Mahamandapa. Many of the temple pillars are beautifully carved with sculptures.  The vimana and sikhara of the temple are built with brick and lime. The Vimana is dwitalavimana with round sikhara and it consists of Kuta, Panjara and sala series.
