Location: Akkammavari gudi alayam is located in Kambadur which is 28 Kms away from Kalyandurgam Mandal in Ananthapuramu district.

This area was once predominated by Jaina religion. It was once ruled by Nolamba Pallavas during 8th – 10th Century A.D., by Kalyani Chalukyas during 11th – 12th Century A.D.  and by Vijayanagara rulers during 16th Century A.D. as per the available inscriptional evidences in this area. Akkammavari gudi alayam temple, facing to west, consists of Garbhagriha, Antharalaya and open pillar mandapa. It is totally a stone build structure. The sloped pyramid Vimana and Amalaka sikhara are of typical Chalukyan Architecture can be seen in the temple construction. The temple inscriptions refer to a grant made by King Someswara – IV to the temple for its maintenance.
