Location: Sri Ranganatha swamy temple (Lat. 14°34‘01.7”N; Long. 76°53‘15.8”E) is located 27 kms from Kalyandurg in the Brahmasamudram mandal on the bank of Hagari River in Vepulaparthi village.

Brief History of Sri Ranganatha swamy temple:

This village was buried under sand dunes and was restored in 1943. This temple was constructed during the Vijayanagara period and was later on renovated in subsequent periods.  An Inscription of king Sadasivaraya of Vijayanagara period describe the renovation works that were conducted and offerings made to this temple. A ground entrance of the Eastern gopura of this temple attracts the visitors.
